Asbestos Removal Protocol for Residential Projects

- First the work site must be a residential structure like a home, garage, or other structure commonly found on a residential property.
- The asbestos removal work must be done entirely by the homeowners, or unpaid volunteers. If professional crews are on site for any reason then commercial asbestos removal bins must be used.
- The homeowners must sign a document affirming to the Landfill Coordinator that the asbestos is non-friable and from the primary residence.
